Carbonara
Spaghetti with crispy bacon or pancetta in a creamy egg and parmesan sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 pound spaghetti
- 4 oz bacon or pancetta
- 4 cloves garlic
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup parmesan
- Lots of black pepper
- Parsley
Recipe

Beat eggs and parmesan together in a bowl.

Bring water to boil to begin cooking pasta.

While spaghetti is cooking, cut up bacon and crisp in a large pan. Add garlic cloves and sauté.

Remove pasta from water and add to pan with bacon, reserving some pasta water.

Add the egg mixture and remove from heat, constantly stirring. Add reserved pasta water if needed. Top with black pepper and parsley.
